The Director
Zac Cornfield is a Rocky Mountain Emmy Award-winning director and storyteller from Albuquerque, New Mexico. He is best known for his work with Santa Fe-based Docufilms.
From Documentaries to Music Videos, Narratives, and Commercials, Zac adopts a human-first approach, crafting stories that resonate by placing people at the center. This method keeps each film true to its subject while captivating viewers and shaping their worldview.
Zac began as a PA on Better Call Saul, worked up to Location Scout on the series

finale, then spent two more years Scouting and Managing on shows like The Cleaning Lady (FOX) and Miss You, Love You. His first significant directing project, Movement, earned him a Rocky Mountain Emmy for Long Form Branded Content.
Since then, he’s helmed dozens of projects highlighting local charities and directed Eating History: A Taste of New Mexico (Docufilms), now streaming on PBS. Zac believes the true connection in media comes from the humans behind the story, inspiring him to explore broader themes through intimate narratives.
He’s currently in production on an ad campaign to drive donations to local food banks, bridging the funding gaps left by recent USDA cuts. Visit Zac's website
